WELCOME TO HOME & GARDEN
Home & Garden is, above all, our family home in Călărași, Dolj. Here, Lumi and Flori welcome travellers from Romania and all over the world, many arriving by bicycle on their journey along the Danube.
Over time, people who arrived as guests left feeling part of the family. That is how Home & Garden grew: a living Oltenian household, with a garden, home-cooked food and a gate open to people.

One thing is certain: it will be home-cooked food, made with patience and heart.

A meal prepared especially by Lumi for those who want to discover the flavours of Oltenia as we cook them at home.
Cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, cauldron-baked flatbread, polenta, zacuscă, doughnuts and other homemade dishes, chosen according to the season and available ingredients.

02 / ON TWO WHEELS
We set off together along the roads around us, through villages, fields and places near the Danube that you might otherwise pass without discovering.
It is not a race. We ride at a relaxed pace and adapt the route to the group.

On request, we can end the day with a dinner prepared by Lumi.

TENT CAMPING
For those travelling with a tent, the Home & Garden courtyard is a simple, peaceful place to stop for a night or more.
You have access to a bathroom, summer kitchen, running water, Wi-Fi and power sockets, and we have a dedicated area for bicycles monitored by video.
